Seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for a remote contract role, the candidate will manage enterprise Oracle database environments, provide troubleshooting and operational support, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both on-premises and cloud settings. Key responsibilities Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Oracle database environments Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using Oracle RMAN Perform advanced database performance tuning and develop automation scripts, including PL/SQL Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in database administration and related disciplines Advanced expertise in Oracle database administration, including Oracle Grid and RMAN Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and database performance tuning Proficient in managing databases in enterprise production environments Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional technical teams
