We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Screen Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed designs on various substrates. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of graphic design principles, color theory, and printing techniques, with the ability to collaborate with designers and production staff to ensure accurate and vibrant print results.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate screen printing machinery efficiently, ensuring precise registration and color matching.
* Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing, maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
* Collaborate with graphic designers.
* Adjust print settings based on artwork specifications, substrate type, and desired effects.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area to promote safety and efficiency.
* Perform quality control checks on printed products to ensure color accuracy, sharpness, and overall quality.
* Troubleshoot technical issues related to screen printing equipment or print quality. .
* Follow safety protocols and best practices for handling inks, chemicals, and machinery.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in screen printing or related graphic arts fields is preferred.
* Knowledge of art direction, typography, color theory, visual design principles, and layout design.
* Strong understanding of print advertising, illustration techniques, interior or production design is advantageous.
* Ability to interpret digital artwork files accurately and prepare them for high-quality screen printing.
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
