Fully Remote, Flexible Schedule, $28-$38/hour Fully remote $28-$38/hour Bachelors US EZ Health EZ Health is hiring Health Coaches to help older adults navigate their healthcare, solve everyday challenges, and feel more supported along the way. This is a phone-based role for someone who is caring, patient, and enjoys helping people work through problems. Healthcare can be confusing, especially when someone is juggling appointments, medications, referrals, transportation, insurance, and other needs. Clients may know they need help but not know what to do next. As a Health Coach, you’ll be a reliable person they can turn to — someone who takes the time to understand what’s going on, helps identify the next step, and follows through. This isn’t a traditional high-volume call center position. You’ll typically support a smaller group of around 20 or fewer clients, giving you time to get to know them, build trust, and stay involved as their needs evolve. What you’ll do As a Health Coach, you may: Call older adults regularly to check in and see how they’re doing Listen closely and ask follow-up questions to understand their needs Help clients get ready for medical appointments and understand what to do afterward Make healthcare information, benefits, referrals, and next steps easier to understand Communicate with doctor’s offices, pharmacies, insurance companies, and community resources Help coordinate transportation, medications, meals, and other everyday needs Research options and troubleshoot when clients run into obstacles Document conversations, needs, and next steps clearly Keep track of outstanding issues and follow up until they’re resolved Who we’re looking for Previous healthcare experience can be helpful, but it isn’t required. We’re more interested in people who communicate well, have good judgment, care about others, and reliably get things done. You may be a good fit if you: Enjoy talking with older adults and building relationships over the phone Are comfortable making outbound calls throughout the day Listen carefully and know when to ask additional questions Can turn complicated information into simple, understandable explanations Stay patient and supportive when someone is confused, worried, or frustrated Are organized and comfortable keeping track of multiple ongoing tasks Take responsibility for following through without needing frequent reminders Are comfortable with email, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and online tools Enjoy figuring things out and finding practical solutions for people We use technology and AI to help our team stay organized and work efficiently, but great Health Coaches rely on something technology can’t replace: empathy, judgment, persistence, and human connection.
